News From Nowhere Club will be hosting ‘Plebs’: The Ruskin College ‘strike’ of 1909’ with speaker Colin Waugh on Saturday 12th Aprilfrom 7:30 buffet, at Epicentre, West Street, Leytonstone, E11 4LJ, 8:00pm talk and discussion, followed by social ending.
The 54 Beulah Road Market in Walthamstow village is back on Saturday 12th April
- this week it will have retro vinyls, jewellery, home decoration, flowers, bespoke furniture, ceramic, Whiskey cured Salmon and amazing street food. For more details call 07971 255 705
There will be a free ‘be inspired day’ at Chingford Leisure Centre at the Larkswood site onSaturday 12th April. This will include free activities for adults and children between 12pm to 4.30pm at the site as well as face painting and a raffle. Ring 020 8523 8215 for more details.
A term’s worth of swimming lessons for children aged 5 and over in five days with Tritons Swim School CIC at Waltham Forest College Pool starts from Sunday 13th April to Thursday 17th April

E17 Designers’ Spring Market will be taking place on Sunday 13th April
from 2pm-6pm, The Asian Centre, Walthamstow, E17 9NL. £2 entry to the E17 Designers Market includes a free seasonal drink, music, and automatic entry in the Goody Bag prize draw. For more information please visit the website.
The Walthamstow Family Bike club
will be holding a family friendly bike ride on Sunday 13th April
. Meeting outside the Ancient House in Walthamstow village at 1pm they will explore parks and back street routes. If you’re worried your bike might not be roadworthy, this month they will have Jerry from WF LETS

On Monday 14th April
the Stowtellers –The Walthamstow Storytelling Club- will be meeting at the Welcome Centre, by St Mary’s Church, 8 Church End. Their guest teller is the incomparable London storyteller, Sarah Rundle.7.30 – 9.30 p.m, places are £5, or £4 for concessions. For more details contact email@example.com

On Sunday 20th April
, The East London Out Project (ELOP) will be having a Rainbow Family Easter Sunday ‘eggstravaganza’ in Lloyd Park in Walthamstow between 3-5pm. This will feature an Easter trail and activities to give little kids, big kids and adults and afternoon’s entertainment. As it is a bank holiday they ask for attendees to book in advance by at least 6pm on Thursday 17th
