Wards / Wood Street
Wood Street ward covers the eastern half of Walthamstow village and then runs all the way to the border between Walthamstow and Redbridge, stretching out to Epping Forest. Wood Street itself runs through the middle of the ward, which has the station and the indoor market at its centre. Schools include Our Lady & St George, Henry Maynard, Holy Family, St Mary’s RC and Woodside.
